A Finnish company owned by it’s customers

HOK-Elanto has been awarded the Key Flag standard by the Association for Finnish Work on the grounds of highly diversified ownership and high rate of domestic products.

HOK-Elanto has with it's more than 500,000 customer-owners de broadest base of ownership of all companies i Finland. The co-op members actually own the society and are at the same time customers.

More than 80 per cent of HOK-Elanto's net sales originated from products manufactured in Finland.

The Key Flag also proclaims HOK-Elanto's role as a responsible company, being one of it's operating area's biggest employers. The company employs over 6,000 professionals in the service industry in about 300 localities.

Multi-culturalism is also part of HOK-Elanto's daily life. Educating and employing immigrants advances their integration into Finnish society. The Uusimaa Employment and Economic Development Centre (T&E Centres) has granted HOK-Elanto the Kotomaa_Uusimaa award for long-term integration work.
