The task of the managing director is to manage the HOK-Elanto operations in accordance with the law and regulations, as well as in accordance with the decisions and instructions of the administrative organs.

The task of the managerial group is to assist the managing director and the board, with a goal of co-ordinating and preparing the proposals to be presented to the board. These proposals include business strategies, goal levels, operational plans and budgets, as well as important investment and realisation projects of the co-operative.
