Sickness Fund Rules
Rules effective from 1 July 2025Representative Council and Board
The Representative Council Meeting exercises the highest power of decision-making in matters concerning the fund. The meetings are usually held in April ja in November. The members of the Representative Council are elected for three calendar years at a time. The insured members of the fund elect at least 10 representatives and deputy representatives to the council, divided by occupational groups. The fund’s Board of Directors consists of six members, each of whom must have a personal deputy member. The board is elected for three years at a time by the Representative Council Meeting.The board represents the fund and is responsible for its administration and the appropriate organisation of its operations.
